Number portability

It is FREE for you to keep your existing number if you buy a new contract phone from us, so long as your new contract is with a different network to the one your number is currently on.
Example 1: You are currently with Vodafone. You wish to buy a new contract phone on Orange, T-mobile or 3. You can keep your number.
Example 2: You are currently with Vodafone. You wish to buy a new contract phone on Vodafone. You CANNOT keep your number, unless you 'upgrade' with Vodafone (this is usally over £100 more expensive). In this case, we recommend that you take out a new contract with a new phone number OR choose a very similar tariff on another network.

How to transfer your number

You just need to call up the new network once you are connected and they will talk you through the process. It takes 5 working days and is free of charge, and while you are waiting for your number to come across to your new handset, there will be a temporary number on your new handset.
